An Orange County Legacy to be Inducted to the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame

On July 31st 2019, Mr. Bobby Beagles will be inducted into the Florida 4-H Hall of Fame. Bobby has been very engaged with 4-H, Extension, and FFA. He has been involved with the Orange County 4-H program since 1983, when his daughter joined a 4-H club in Christmas. Bobby’s contributions to the community are extensive. He has served on numerous advisory boards throughout the years, such as the Cattleman’s Association and the Orange County Farm Bureau, and has chaired the overall UF/IFAS Extension Orange County Advisory Board and still serves on the board today.

Bobby’s contributions to the county program, clubs, members, and competitive teams are immeasurable. Bobby has always been there to provide support and energy for the youth. He believes that anytime you can help youth, you have invested in their future and the future of our community. He quotes: “Just one kind word, one investment, can make a difference in a child’s life.” Congratulations to Bobby and thank you for all you do for the youth (4-H and FFA) and agriculture programs in Orange County, Florida!
