This site can file your 2020 Income Taxes in a Three-Step Process.

VITA/TCE services are not only free, but they are also a reliable and trusted source for preparing tax returns. All preparers must take and pass tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards. This training includes maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of all taxpayer information. In addition to requiring certifying their knowledge of the tax laws, the IRS requires a quality review check for every return prepared at a VITA site before filing. Each filing season, tens of thousands of dedicated VITA/TCE volunteers prepare millions of federal and state returns. Individuals income must be under $57,000 to participate

3 Step Process:

  1. Contact UF/IFAS, Nassau County Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program – Meg McAlpine (904)570-5713 to schedule your appointment to have tax documents scanned and complete Intake Review Sheet 13614-C
  2. At Your Appointment: Bring the Necessary Documents – These documents will be scanned and securely sent to our certified income tax filers
  • Social Security Cards for all persons on your TAX RETURN and a valid picture ID for you and your spouse.
  • Optional – Bank Name, Routing, and Account Number (for direct deposit returns)

  • Tip Income
  • Educational Scholarships w-2, 1098 T
  • Interest Dividends 1099 INT, 1099 DIV
  • Refund of state/local income taxes 1099 G
  • Alimony income
  • Self-Employment Income 1099 MICS, 1099 NEC
  • Income or loss from sale or exchange of stocks, bonds, real estate 1099 S, 1099 B
  • Disability Income from insurance, workers compensation 1099 R, W 2
  • Retirement Income or payments 1099 R
  • Unemployment Compensation 1099 G
  • Social Security or Railroad Benefits SSA 1099 RRB 1099
  • Other Income: gambling, lottery, prizes, awards, jury duty, etc
  • List of Expenses and Documents You (and/or) Your Spouse Paid 2020
    • Alimony or separate maintenance payments
    • Contributions to IR, 401K(B), Roth IRA(B)
    • College or post-secondary educational expenses 1098 T
    • Medical and Dental including insurance premiums
