Free Income Tax Return Assistance Offered by the University of Florida/IFAS
The University of Florida/IFAS is an official partner with the IRS – Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. You will be able to file your taxes quickly and easily through video conference technology at either the Yulee Library or the Callahan Library. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program provides free tax preparation services. Each appointment will take approximately 75 minutes. What You Will Need to Bring to File your Income Taxes:
- Photo identification for you and your spouse (if filing joint return)
- If married filing joint, both spouses must be present
- Social security cards or individual taxpayer identification number for you, your spouse and dependents
- Birth dates for you, spouse and dependents
- All W-2, 1098 and 1099 forms
- Information for other income
- Total paid to day care provider and their tax ID Number
- For direct deposit of refund, bank routing and account number
