Nassau County Extension Horticulture Agent IV Rebecca Jordi will teach a class about growing, maintaining, and pruning fruit trees in your landscape. The class will take place at the Yulee Extension office at 86026 Pages Dairy Road where the UF/IFAS Nassau Fruit Demonstration Garden is located. Growing there are a wide variety of fruit trees and shrubs, including: apple, pear, olive, nectarine trees, blueberry shrubs and grape vines. The class is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Extension office at 530-6351. Master Gardener Volunteers are on phone duty on Fridays, at 530-6351, press ‘1’ for the Yulee office.
