County Council is the youth leadership team for Nassau County. These youth serve in many roles and this year they’re getting a new one – fun shop hosts!
So what is a fun shop? 4-H fun shops are hands-on, engaging opportunities for youth to learn something new in an exciting way. Typically, they give youth the chance to walk away with something they created. Fun shops can be about any topic, but they always include the most important component of youth learning… fun!
Throughout this 4-H year, County Council will plan, facilitate, and teach a variety of fun shops open to all youth ages 5 and up (not just 4-H members). These events will be offered as fair point opportunities for Nassau County youth.
Registration for our November fun shop is already open! Reserve your spot by going to: https://nassauhomemadeholiday.eventbrite.com
