The UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center is proud to congratulate Hayk Khachatryan on his tenure and promotion to full professor in the Food and Resource Economics Department.
“I cannot say thank you enough,” Khachatryan said. “I am sincerely happy to be part of the University of Florida and the Mid-Florida Research and Education Center and look forward to continuing my contributions to the economics discipline and our stakeholders at large.”
Khachatryan has been at UF since 2010 and specializes in experimental and behavioral economics, applied choice analysis, consumer behavior, temporal preferences and pro-environmental behavior. Khachatryan’s research focuses on consumer preferences in horticulture, aiming to understand consumer perceptions of labels and their willingness-to-pay for specific horticultural traits.
