The UF/IFAS Extension Central District team hopes you will save-the-date for our Water Wednesday Workshop: Ways to Create Your Own Florida-Friendly Landscape on March 30th at the Lake County Discovery Gardens.

The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will include eight Florida-Friendly stations.

Included in the day are demonstrations on how to build your own rain barrel, providing water in your backyard for wildlife, understanding and calibrating your irrigation system, mulching, at-home composting, and other Florida-Friendly practices.

Registration is $15. Participants will take home a Florida-Friendly plant, a Florida-Friendly Landscape Guide, a water bottle, a rain gauge, light refreshments and other take home items. There will also be door prizes and other giveaways.

Be sure to join us on March 30th for this event you do not want to miss! Register here.
