Last month Mid-Florida Research and Education Center (MREC) Center Director Roger Kjelgren was interviewed by Laura Greenberg at Fox 35 Orlando about our role in conducting industrial hemp research.
During his interview, Kjelgren spoke about the UF/IFAS Industrial Hemp Pilot Project, highlighting MREC’s research which includes pest management and fertilizer application rates.
MREC is a research location for production trials, focused on understanding variety selection, cropping system development and the economics behind industrial hemp production.
