Fungicides within the same group have similar chemistries and similar biochemical modes of action within fungal cells. It is prudent to rotate fungicides from different classes to avoid the development of fungicides resistance. Generally speaking, chlorothalonil, mancozeb, and inorganic fungicides have not shown any tendencies to develop resistance.
