Please join us in welcoming Ms. Shirley Bouie, the new Jefferson County Family and Consumer Science Agent. She is a Tallahassee native. Ms. Bouie received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Florida A & M University in Home Eco­nomics. She has taught in several states (Florida, Georgia, Maryland and Texas) and in South Korea. Ms. Bouie has taught all levels of educa­tion from Kindergarten to the col­lege level. She has also worked for the Department of Edu­cation as a Home Economics Spe­cialist, Equal Opportunity and Title I/Migrant Program Specialist.

We are pleased to have Shirley on board and confident she is going to be a great addition not only the Jefferson County team but the Northwest District as well.
