Today marks the second day of our annual multi-county 4-H Outdoor Recreation Day Camp. The 4-H youth are enjoying their camping experience by learning about Forestry, Conservation and Wildlife in the morning sessions and in the afternoons they are taking part in shooting sports – Archery, Air Rifle and Shotgun. The campers are also learning about canoe safety, because on Thursday they will take part in a day of Aquatic activities – Fishing, Aquatic Science and Canoeing. Friday is a Fun Day of some different activities – Altalt, Flint-knapping, Skins, skulls, pottery, weaving, contests, cookout and sno cones before ending the week.
