Master Gardener Annual Plant Sale – Cancelled due to COVID19

The Jackson County Master Gardeners were planning to host their annual fundraiser Plant Sale on Saturday, March 21, 2020. This event was CANCELED due to COVID19. The event will be held from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Jackson County Extension Office, 2741 Penn Ave. in Marianna. The sale will be held in the pavilion behind the main building, on the north side of the grounds.

The sale this year will offer an array of vegetables, herbs, blueberries, fruit trees, as well as potted landscape plants and trees to enhance your yard. In addition to the plants, vendors will be selling homemade crafts and farm products. The Country Bumpkin 4-H club will also sell drinks and snacks to support their annual club activities. Come out and get some Florida friendly plants and trees for your yard, and vegetable and herb transplants for your garden, for raised beds, or containers, while supporting the Master Gardener volunteers who serve the citizens of Jackson County.

Certified Master Gardeners work through the local UF/IFAS Extension Jackson County office to educate Floridians and provide research-based information about gardening. Jackson County Master Gardeners volunteer in a variety of ways, including: public educational programs, answering homeowner questions over the phone or in person, support 4-H youth activities, consultations for community and school garden projects, demonstration gardens at the Extension Office, and other various community service projects.
