Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)

As progress is made in the study of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and lung injuries in general, and new therapies are being experimented with, this new information is also being presented to other doctors, scientists, and researchers to work with. Three different aspects of this study were recreated in these illustrations, to assist in visually explaining the healthy vs. injured alveolus, the progress of the injury in the body, and the effects of proper vs. improper ventilation intervention. This complex, innovative research and accompanying illustrations will be used in presentations, books, journals, and more.
