Tyler Pittman, Ph.D. CWB, earned a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science from Clemson University in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology with a focus on environmental toxicology. After completion of these degrees Tyler went on to earn a Ph.d. in Biology from the University of Arkansas in the USGS Fish and Wildilfe Cooperative Research unit where his research interest focused on prescribed fire for forest and wild turkey management. From there Tyler work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Environmental Science and Technology Department at the University of Maryland working on pesticide contamination in the upper Midwest watersheds. Tyler then move to Gainesville, Fl where he served as the state upland gamebird research biologist for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. After 4 years with FL FWC, Tyler because the Agriculture and Natural resources agent in Marion County before moving to Gilchrist county Florida. Tyler's programmatic areas focus on large and small scale responsible land use working with a range of clients from homeowners to commercial agriculture producers.
