The fall 2021 semester began with an air of excitement and energy for the FRED Graduate Program as our graduate students returned to in-person classes after having taken classes and conducted research off-campus for nearly 18 months. In addition to welcoming our returning students, we rolled out the welcome mat to twenty new graduate students from eight countries, involved in a number of research areas including marketing, consumer behavior, environmental, natural resource, and ecological economics, Latin American development, trade, policy, and experimental economics. All of these students, outstanding in their former programs, were eager to join us and begin the next stage of their education. We are happy to have them with us and honored to be a part of this next great journey of their lives!
