FLORIDA FOREST SERVICE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CARBON SEQUESTRATION PROGRAM

The Florida Forest Service is accepting applications for the 2022 Sequestering Carbon and Protecting Florida Land Program, a state-funded grant aimed at establishing and protecting robust forest lands in Florida by providing incentive payments to landowners. Applications will be accepted through August 12, 2022.
The Florida Forest Service (FFS) will provide incentive payments to landowners to encourage implementation of approved tree establishment practices, including: site preparation, seedling purchase, and planting.

Don’t wait until after a disaster to get your farm records filled out with USDA Farm Service Agency. You’ll be ahead in the queue for assistance and will receive E-notifications about recovery programs from FSA after the storm.
