We know that our youth are eager to take advantage of all the opportunities set before them. In this spirit, we are offering a preparatory course in financial aid and scholarships to help parent/guardians and their youth be more informed about how to go through the process and know what opportunities are available. Dave Timberlake, local financial aid and scholarship guru will offer some tips and information that will help you prepare for college in a financially responsible way. This will include how to apply for federal aid such as the FAFSA and Pell Grants as well as how to take advantage of university/college specific financial aid and privately funded scholarships. This event is open to the public, so please share. We encourage youth 9-12 grade as well as their parent/guardians to attend. Let us know you are coming so we can prepare our materials.
