Pensacola Snake Watch – August Report

PENSACOLA SNAKE WATCH – AUGUST REPORT       

 

August was a bit cooler than July, and more snakes were reported.  For July only 3 snakes were reported, and we had 16 reported for August.  Below are both the July and August reports

2025

Winter – 19 reports, 10 species, most common – Banded water snake

Spring – 57 reports, 15 species, most common – Eastern Ribbon Snake

Summer – 19 reports, 12 species, most common – Southern Black Racer and the Cottonmouth  

 

PENSACOLA BAY SNAKE WATCH
