Florida citrus growers are welcomed to attend the 2017 Citrus Health Forum, February 23rd at the North Florida Research and Education Center, 155 Research Road, Quincy, FL.
With the continuous development of cold-hardy citrus varieties, and improvement in freeze protection, there has been a significant growth in North Florida citrus in recent years. During the last decade, satsuma and cold hardy fresh market citrus has generated more interest in North Florida than any other tree crop. This meeting aims to cover the major issues that North Florida citrus growers are currently facing. Plant pathologists and entomologists from the UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center in Lake Alfred and NFREC, Quincy will present the latest information on important insect and diseases affecting citrus production.
