There was yet again a heavy rain event in the area and the bacteria loads in Bayou Texar have initiated yet another health advisory for that body of water. Equipment malfunction kept FDEP from sampling the other bayous but there could be a strong assumption that the bacterial loads are high in both Bayou Chico and Bayou Grande as well. At the time of this writing the FWC Red Tide report for the week has not come out. We will update all as soon as we know.
