The annual Sugarcane Field Day hosted by the University of Florida Research and Education Center in Quincy (NFREC-Quincy) will be held on November 2nd at the Gadsden County Extension Office, 2140 W Jefferson St., Quincy, FL 32351. This event is geared to new and existing sugarcane producers and syrup makers interested in learning new and updated agricultural and production techniques and new sugarcane varieties for different potential uses.
State and regional renowned speakers will share with farmers and producers their experience in sugarcane production on such topics as Weed Management, Insect and Disease Management, and Nutrient Management.
