Lifelong Learning with UF/IFAS

As 2022 hurtles toward the finish line, how are you feeling? Anxious, tired, excited? Perhaps you or people you know are mulling over things you would like to try or goals you would like to meet in 2023.

You may be familiar with the well-loved idea of being a lifelong learner. If that idea speaks to you, check out a few of the offerings and opportunities within UF/IFAS.

UF/IFAS Extension Online Learning has courses on subjects that include but are not limited to agricultural entrepreneurship, social marketing, farm labor education, landscape weed management, pollinator gardening, urban pest management, and youth, family, and communities. UF/IFAS Extension also has statewide programs, workshops, and conferences, and local, in-person events.

If you prefer to absorb fascinating new information while poring over a good book at home, check out the UF/IFAS Extension Bookstore. The UF/IFAS Extension Bookstore has materials on aquaculture and wetlands, books for educators and students, 4-H publications, lawn and landscape guides, and materials on home maintenance.

If the Internet is your medium of choice, you may get a lot out of the informative clips on IFAS Video, which run the gamut from disaster preparedness to recipes.
