Centipede Grass – Weed of the Week

Centipede Grass – Weed of the Week

Centipede grass is a low growing grass great for yards, but terrible for pastures. It prefers low nutrient soil and low pH, and can quickly out-compete bahia and bermuda under poor management. The prostrate growth makes it difficult for livestock to graze, allowing it to move into spots of grazed pasture.
