Dr. Candice Prince is an assistant professor with UF/IFAS Agronomy department and the UF/IFAS Center of Aquatic and Invasive Plants. She earned her bachelor’s in plant science – restoration horticulture and her Ph.D. in horticultural sciences with a concentration in environmental horticulture from the UF/IFAS College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Her research interests emphasize understanding the ecology and physiology of an invasive species and using that information to create more targeted management plans. Dr. Prince also teaches courses in the UF/IFAS Agronomy department. She hopes to use emerging technologies and innovation to actively engage students and teach them how dynamic the scientific field can be.
