On Saturday, November 9, UF/IFAS Extension Broward will host an open house from 9 a.m. to noon at 3245 College Ave. in Davie.
This event is open to the public and offers a unique opportunity to explore the wide range of services available through our extension programs, including exciting activities showcasing the Master Gardener Volunteer (MGV) Program.

- Demonstrations and Presentations: Engage with informative sessions highlighting UF/IFAS Extension services.

- Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ (FFL): Learn how the FFL Program promotes sustainable landscaping practices that you can apply to your property.

- Master Gardener Volunteer Help Desk: Meet our Broward County Master Gardener Volunteers ready to help you with your gardening, plant, and pest problems.
- Free Gardening Demonstrations: Participate in hands-on sessions covering topics such as butterfly gardening, vegetable gardening, native orchids, and Florida-Friendly Landscaping™ tips.
- Water Ambassador Program: Join us to learn the importance of issues concerning water quality and quality in urban environments while benefiting the environment.
- Sustainable Urban Food Program: Learn about sustainable gardening methods and ways to grow food in small spaces.
