Engaging Virtual Programming

We all are getting used to this new “normal”. With that has come a lot of Zoom meetings, TEAMS calls, and virtual experiences. But how do we engage our audiences when they are virtualled out?

One way is to create a game that can also serve as a marketing piece as well as an educational tool. Escape rooms have been super popular in recent years and with social distancing guidelines aren’t very possible right now.

I had seen (and played) a few but wanted to make one that was a little more informational about the 4-H program instead of just fun.

This escape room takes youth through their county fair while learning about the different activities you can do in 4-H along with what certain ages can do within their specific age category and more. There is also a hints page to assist those who may need some help.

Please enjoy the Escape Room here: https://sites.google.com/ufl.edu/4-hescaperoom/home
