Cattle Empire Internships

Internship Program

Cattle Empire, LLC offers internships at its facilities in Satanta and Sublette, Kansas. The internship program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with an opportunity to learn about feedyards and the supporting areas of agriculture.

Internship Positions Available

Eligibility

A candidate must be a graduate student; an undergraduate student; or have graduated from college within 6 months of beginning the internship.

General Information

Cattle Empire internships are paid. Interns are expected to work between 40 and 50 hours per week during a 10- to 12-week summer internship period. Interns may receive academic credit if an agreement is made between the Cattle Empire Communications Department and the intern’s college or university. All interns are subject to the applicable Cattle Empire employee rules, including its Employment Handbook and Privacy Policy.

Candidates must submit a resume and cover letter. Some internship positions require additional application items, such as a writing sample.
