Description of Position:
An opportunity for interns to gain experience in all aspects of foaling/breeding.
Duties Include
- Foal Watch
- Foaling MAres
- Assisting Foal
- Monitor Foals
- Administer Treatments
- Assist Veterinarian with care and treatment of foals and foaling mares
Experience Required:
- Handling Mares and Foals
- Should be comfortable
- Feeding
- Grooming
- Turning Out mares and foals
- cleaning stalls
Shared Housing is Available
Includes utilities, wifi, and dish tv
Starting and Ending Dates:
January 15th to June 30th. (flexible)
Stipend:
$300 per week.
