The University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine is currently hiring a full-time biological scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrophysiological and pharmacological investigations of respiratory and nervous systems.
- Collecting and measuring data obtained from various sources including computer based data acquisition software.
- Animal handling and anesthesia
- Maintaining lab function by ordering supplies, performing equipment maintenance, and assisting in maintaining fiscal records.
Advertised Salary:
- $13.18 – $14.47 per hour
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or closely related field
- Bachelor of Science degree and experience with animals larger than rodents are preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
