Graduate Student Mentorship to Grow this Fall

Graduate student mentorship in the Agronomy Department will grow even stronger this semester. Two of our Assistant Professors, Dr. Mike Mulvaney and Dr. Candice Prince, were accepted to the semester-long College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Mentoring Academy. This fall, they will develop their mentoring philosophy and a mentor-mentee compact through role play, facilitated discussions, readings, and case studies. The course’s final session, Elements of Effective Mentoring and Mentoring Philosophy, will be offered by our own Dr. Lynn Sollenberger, Distinguished Professor.

Please join us in congratulating Drs. Prince and Mulvaney. We are looking forward to what they will bring home to our department.
