Terminal Four (T4) Update

UF/IFAS has a specific implementation plan for migrating websites to TerminalFour (T4). A webinar will be held in the future to discuss website implementation under the UF/IFAS domain.

Here are current UF updates about T4:

Update Spring UF Peer2Peer Conference 4/16/2014 and Web Manger Meeting 5/5/14

  • Requirement: Training and a test after training is required before users can access T4
  • After training, UF/IFAS users will need to contact UF/IFAS Communications Web Services (webteam@ifas.ufl.edu) to gain access to the system and to request websites
  • Users will access T4 using their gatorlink username
  • Sites that are less than 20,000 pages are recommended to do a manual (cut and paste) …even those in WP
  • For Writers: You can edit by simply logging into your browser to make content changes
  • For Writers: T4 allows for workflows to be setup if greater content control/moderation is required for website publishing
  • Tentative launch of the UF homepage in T4 is end of June/July 2014
  • Migrating UF critical path sites will be 2-3 months after UF launches the homepage in T4
  • Migration at the UF/IFAS unit level will begin with critical path websites first
