If you are interested in taking Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP) courses, you still can – FMNP courses are being offered online. Unless otherwise noted, the online courses will still include field trips and/or in-person activities, but these are scheduled with tentative dates in the future consistent with COVID-19 safety guidelines. A detailed agenda, including tentative dates and plans for the in-person components, are available on the registration webpage for all FMNP courses being offered. As of April 23, 2020, current FMNP online offerings include Coastal Systems, Environment Interpretation, Wildlife Monitoring, Habitat Evaluation, and Coastal Shoreline Registration. Additional FMNP online courses are being planned and will soon be posted on the Course Registration website (https://conference.ifas.ufl.edu/fmnp/courses.html), so please check the site frequently for new postings. And if you have an online FMNP course you’d like to see offered, you can express your interests by contacting FMNP instructors in your area.
