The Florida Association for Home and Community Education (HCE) is a non-profit, volunteer organization sponsored by the University of Florida/IFAS Extension Service. Its mission is to strengthen families through programs of community leadership, continuing education, and community service. Local clubs perform community service projects and assist with Extension educational programs.
The Generations HCE Club meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (CT) in the greater Vernon/Bonifay area for educational programs and community service projects. Club membership is open to everyone.

We are collecting school supplies for teachers. Click here for a list of requested supplies. All supplies will be donated to Vernon Elementary School and Bonifay Elementary School.

Pop Tops for Ronald McDonald House – supports Pensacola House
Used Greeting Cards – supports St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital Craft Programs
Pennies for Friendship – supports Associated Country Women of the World
Recycling Old/Unused Cell Phones – supports domestic violence victims
Outdated Prescription Eyeglasses – supports Lion’s Club Eyesight for the Blind program
Most of these projects involve items that normally would be tossed in the trash. Take a moment and recycle these items to support some great causes. Collection bins are available at every meeting.
