One thing we all have in common is that we all like food – Good foot.  However, many new residents arriving in Florida aren’t familiar with what’s fresh in season.  For example, strawberries are harvested in winter in Florida, not summer as in our Northern states. I don’t know how good a cook you are, but it’s certain that our kids have us as their first cooking instructor. Help is available!

In 2020, the “Fresh From Florida” Club was launched from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (www.fdacs.gov ). Thousands of young and old enthusiastic cooks have joined.
