The Florida Master Naturalist Program in St. Lucie County

The Florida Master Naturalist Program is offered through UF/IFAS Extension in conjunction with collaborating agencies.  In St. Lucie County, lead instructors contribute to this program from the UF/IFAS Extension and St. Lucie County Environmental Resources Department.  Associate and assistant instructors come from a variety of organizations each one contributing unique perspectives on Florida’s natural resources.  There are three 40-hr core courses (uplands, freshwater, coastal systems), four 24-hr advanced courses (conservation science, environmental interpretation, habitat evaluation, wildlife monitoring), and new restoration courses offered in Florida.  Details of future course offerings are online at  Extension programs are open to all people without regard to race, color, sex, age, disability, religion, or national origin.
