4-H Programming in the Performing Arts

You take the stage, the spot light shines on you and you are given the cue. Have you ever wanted to be up on stage? Do you like to sing? Enjoy dancing? Know a good joke or comedy routine? Do you have an interest in drama? Do you like to perform?

4-H offers programming in the performing arts. On Wednesday, December 9th, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., learn about 4-H performing arts at the Seminole County 4-H At-Large 4-H Club meeting. Join us for fun activities and the opportunity to learn more about the 4-H Share the Fun Talent and Variety Show, which takes place in the spring.

The 4-H Share the Fun program provides youth the opportunity to discover, develop, and share their unique performing arts talents. 4-H Share the Fun has county, district and state level competitions, depending on a youth’s age. Youth who participate in 4-H Share the Fun gain leadership skills, confidence, stage presence, while sharing their talents with others. Youth may compete in one of five categories: instrumental, vocal, dance, dramatic & novelty and general (two or more categories combined).

Register for the December 9th meeting at: https://at-large-4h-club.eventbrite.com Open to youth ages five to 18 (as of September 1, 2020). Questions may be directed to Karen Henry: khenry@seminolecountyfl.gov.
