Farm Bureau Youth Speech Contest

Annually, the Florida Farm Bureau hosts a statewide Youth Speech Contest. The purpose of this contest is to promote a stronger interest and clearer understanding of the many aspects of agriculture; to provide opportunities for our youth to gain knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of agriculture; and help to promote agriculture’s many values and virtues.

This contest begins at the county level and winners advance to district and state. This year youth ages 14-18 are asked to answer the prompt, “Agriculture impacts everyone’s daily life. What are three effective ways to educate young people about agriculture?”
