The 4-H community is delighted to introduce, Truong “Tran, a fresh addition to our staff, whose passion for public speaking, marine conservation, and special needs advocacy is bound to bring a unique perspective to the organization.
Despite being new to the world of 4-H, Truong has a wealth of experience in the fields of public speaking and marine conservation. He has actively engaged with various environmental organizations, fostering a deep-rooted commitment to marine conservation and the well-being of our planet.
Truong’s dedication to marine conservation is evident in their work, spanning from educating visitors in Alaska about Humpback and Orca whales living in the Kenai Fjords, to ongoing efforts to inform guests about sea turtle conservation and rehabilitation efforts in Jupiter, Florida. It’s a passion that aligns perfectly with 4-H’s commitment to instilling environmental stewardship and responsibility in young minds.
In addition to their conservation work, Truong has a heart for special needs advocacy and life skill development. He has been involved in initiatives that promote inclusivity and support for individuals with special needs, an area of passion that can greatly benefit 4-H as we strive to provide inclusive and accessible programs for all youth.
Truong joins 4-H with a strong desire to contribute to the organization’s mission of empowering young individuals with knowledge and skills for life. His background, while distinct from traditional 4-H experience, brings a fresh and valuable perspective to our team.
As Truong embarks on this exciting journey with 4-H, he is eager to learn from the seasoned 4-H community while also sharing his insights and enthusiasm for public speaking, marine conservation, and special needs advocacy. Together, we can look forward to enriching the 4-H experience and empowering our young leaders to make a positive difference in the world. Welcome, Truong, to the 4-H family!
