Volunteer hours may be applied to Florida Bright Futures Scholarships for those eligible. Through the program, students will take part in experiential learning activities including nature hikes, guided canoe trips, invasive plant removal days, and coastal cleanups.
Applications for the program (students ages 15-18) will be due Thursday, May 18, and students will be notified of their acceptance into the program by Friday, May 26, 2017. Download your application today!
During the program, students will be expected to complete their necessary volunteer hours, working 12-16 hours per week. The designated days of the program are Thursdays and Fridays with some Saturday program commitments.
All volunteers will be trained to assist guests that are visiting the Education Center and trails, as well as develop individual projects that support the mission of the Education Center.
