With images of wildfires in the Tampa Bay area and the occasional “haze” you might have seen in the air, we are experiencing wildfires like we have not had in many years. The unseasonably dry winter and spring temperatures are to blame for the uptick in fires. Many of us live in areas where there is beautiful “woodland vegetation” near our homes. Now would be a great time to take some simple steps to make your landscape more “firewise”.
