This is what I took away from today’s sessions. Extension gardens have the opportunity to become leaders in local sustainability issues. But first we must know our communities, identify and expand our core strengths and assets and work to locate community partners for support and leverage. To become a catalyst for change we must work towards connecting with our clientele both emotionally and intellectually.
