This year Florida welcomes the national NACAA/AMPIC Conference to West Palm Beach! Extension agents from all over the country will gather to share program activities and network with other extension professionals nationwide. Important events for Florida Extension agents will include:

Beach Party

On Monday evening there will be a fun beach party at Carlin Park from 5:00 – 9:00pm. There will be busses rotating from the Hilton West Palm Beach Convention Center to Carlin Beach Park, which is located about 30 minutes north.

State Night In

We will have a Taco Tuesday gathering in Ballroom AB at the convention center on Tuesday July 19 at 6:00 pm for Florida agents.

State Picture

We will take our state picture on Tuesday night before State’s Night Taco Night. Plan to meet at 5:00 pm in the lobby of the convention center to take our picture.

Nightly Meetings

We will have meetings for all FACAA members nightly to help us plan for the next day’s work. We will meet nightly in room 1F at 10 pm, Sunday night through Wednesday night in the Palm Beach Convention Center in room 1F.

Parking

Parking in West Palm Beach can be pricey. If you are staying at the Hilton, they only have valet for $30 per day. Some of you are at outside hotels and need to drive to the Palm Beach Convention Center to park daily.  We do have a cost effective option: park at the Convention Center garage (650 Okeechobee Blvd. 33401). The garage charges $10 max a day as long as you don’t move your car.
