Attention County supporters, volunteers, friends, Orange County residents, and especially local Gators:
UF’s 2022 Gator Nation Giving Day is on February 17, 2022, and you can “Stand Up & Holler” for our UF/IFAS Extension Orange County office for 24 hours. Through your support we can advance our mission right here in Orange County by connecting more people with science/research-based solutions for the challenges we face locally. You can make direct donations here: Gator Giving Day Orange County
Your gift to our UF/IFAS Extension office will contribute to positive change in your community. This change could impact 4-H clubs and programming for over 10,000 youth, lawn and garden support from our local 140 Master Gardener Volunteers, tools and resources for local growers and those that aspire to be, improved natural resource conservation strategies for our trees or watersheds, healthy living skills for families in nutrition and finances, and much more.
Just last year, we’ve highlighted Orange County farmers and producers, given away over 700 trees through the Adopt-A-Tree program, serve as a host sight for the Florida Nursery, Grower & Landscape Association’s trial garden, maintain the downtown wildflower garden and 2-acre Exploration Gardens at our office location, hosted First time home buyer programs and 4-H Day Camps, and much more.
You can give gifts of any amount ($1 and upward) to any UF fund during Gator Nation Giving Day. And be self-assured that your contribution provides direct support for local programs.
Please consider standing up wherever you are and holler!
