If you apply fertilizer to lawns for hire, the state requires every applicator to have a license beginning January 1, 2014. To apply for the license, you must be certified in the GI-BMPs.

Plan to attend the Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) training on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. to obtain your BMP certificate.

The cost of the program is $30 and includes lunch.
