Don’t Kill Centipedegrass with Too Much Fertilizer

Centipedegrass does not and will not tolerate very much nitrogen fertilizer! Fertilizing centipedegrass too heavily results in a condition commonly know as centipedegrass decline. This condition results in centipedegrass turning yellow and dying out in patches, usually in spring.
