Elizabeth Cannon is an SRP Outreach Specialist with UF/IFAS at the North Florida Research and Education Center–Suwannee Valley. She works closely with agricultural producers, Extension agents, and partner agencies throughout the Suwannee River Water Management District to support regional best management practice (BMP) projects. She also enjoys sharing the stories and results of these projects through outreach materials, blog posts, research papers, EDIS publications, and social media. Elizabeth is an undergraduate student at the University of Florida studying Agricultural Communication. Having grown up on a farm in rural Levy County, she brings a personal connection to agriculture and a genuine appreciation for the producers and communities she serves. She is also proud to be a fifth-generation Floridian.
