WHAT: The UF/IFAS York Distinguished Lecturer Series returns to the University of Florida campus in 2023; it has not been held in person since 2019.
WHO: The 2023 speaker is Chavonda Jacobs-Young, the United States Department of Agriculture’s undersecretary for research, education and economics and chief scientist. Speaking on “Revolutionary Research for a Growing World,” Young is expected to highlight the latest USDA scientific initiatives.
