Nassau County Master Gardener Volunteers Shirley Lohman and Lynn West will conduct a Landscape Matters class about roses. The class will include a pruning demonstration, and discussion of diseases, remedies, irrigation, varieties, colors, fertilizers, arrangements, when to cut for arrangements, conditions for success, different grades of roses, shrub roses, how to plant, and soil amendments.
