Last month, MREC faculty, postdocs and graduate students traveled to Waikoloa, Hawaii to attend the 2017 American Society for Horticultural Science Conference.
“Interacting with educators, researchers and Extension faculty from across the country really opens the door to cross-state collaborations and sparks ideas for our research programs,” said Chris Marble, assistant professor of ornamental, landscape and invasive weed management.
During the conference MREC team members participated in round-table discussions, led industry meetings, presented research papers and posters, as well as judged student competitions.
