Census 2020 – Complete the Count!
It’s finally here and UF/IFAS Extension has an important role to support a complete count in this year’s census. Census funds are important to Monroe County to support infrastructure (roads, bridges, schools), SNAP, Head Start, grants for mental health services, and so much more!
Did you know that Extension is funded by the USDA and we help communities in every state and almost every county. Your Monroe County Extension program dollars depend on census data for programs such as Master Gardener, Sustainable Floridians and Florida Keys Water Watch. UF/IFAS Extension is actively supporting the county and state’s efforts to promote a #completecount. The census officially kicked off on April 1, Our communities and programs depend on your participation!
Stay “safer at home” and complete the census online, in the safety and privacy of your home on your phone, computer or tablet. Your data is confidential and protected by law.
